TERRORISM is proportional to CORRUPTION ??

-JAYANT MUNDHRA

Each and everyone of us have been a part of some “UNDER THE TABLE” act or have witnessed one. I got my Driving License made through a dalal when I didn’t even know how to drive.. Many would have bribed the Railway T.T.E. to get a berth when you didn’t have a ticket.. Many would have bribed the traffic police officer to avoid the challan.. Or the police officer to get the Passport check validated.

Every now or then, in or nation, one bypasses the law to get the job done by bribing someone. And yet, when we get to know about some Anti-Corruption Protest, or Campaign, we all unite over the social media to claim that we are against.

I ask, “Are we really against Corruption? Are we really FIGHTING against it?”

If we are really against it then why don’t we actually boycott these shortcut measures and go down the tough road.

1.  *     It wouldn’t be possible to get a D/L without proper driving test.
2.  *    You will always have to carry a confirmed ticket when travelling in the train.
3.  *     There will always be a challan when you don’t follow the traffic rules.
4.  *     Passport validation may take more than one stages.
5.  *     And much more.

But, you won’t have to bribe anyone again. Nation’s Tax collection will rise. You would really save a lot more than you will give. Infact, one of the biggest issues TERRORISM will be tackled in an upscale manner.
How? Well here is the answer.

How do you think “these terrorists infiltrate our country, reside among us, buy weapons and distribute them and carry on their dirty business” so easily? They easily get fake Pass-ports, Ration-cards, D/L, Voter ID etc. by paying pity bribes and easily get access to all the rights that we the citizens of INDIA are entitled to.

So, in a way, we are the ones who are promoting terrorism in our own nation in an indirect manner. Pakistan is home to these terrorists and helps them in training, but we are also indirectly helping them in bombing off our own nation.

So, if you boycott this culture of bribery, you will, indirectly be killing terrorism.

Moreover, may be this way we won’t be able to counter the Corporate-level corruption, but a lot of things happen at the clerical level, so, if that is cut off from India, even then a huge difference will be made.

I pledge that I won’t bribe anyone and won’t contribute to terrorism. Do you?
