When you HATE someone, you DIG TWO GRAVES.

-JAYANT MUNDHRA

I have had various brawls till this date. Some with friends, some with strangers. Some on serious issues, some on petty ones. Did I make enemies? Yes. Many of those are such people, that I haven’t talked to them ever since then.

Vishal Maan, for instance, was my classmate from 5th to 10th Grade at Bal Bharti School, Bahadurgarh. He knew “tits and bits of Taekwondo”. So, he was the stud of the class. We used to be friends earlier. But, when you begin to gain power, some get jealous and try to bring you down. Although, here Power signifies becoming the Monitor of the class and jealousy points towards his wish to be the Class Monitor ( In 7th Standard, It was a pretty big deal ) .So, we got into fight. And owing to his physical attributes as he knew “tits and bits of taekwondo skills”, he took the fight to the physical level. Since then, we fought numerous times on various issues. We created a hate cloud for each other. And, both of us have not talked to each other ever since.

I still laugh at the petty issue of “Becoming the Monitor of the class” led to this rivalry between two people. However, I still wonder that all those fights and rivalries gave me nothing but pain, bruises, injuries and more and more anger. All, that this hatred against “Vishal Maan” gave me was more and more anger, agitation and aggression. Not just Vishal, but many more of such rivalries.

Being an IT student, I would state :

HATE is a virus that keeps corrupting your  all the good and treasured VALUE  FILES in your HARD DISK, until either the whole system is either damaged or the virus is removed from the system. The ANTI-VIRUS for tackling this HATE virus is pre-installed in the system memory , but its operating files are scattered and tangled at various nodes and folders which can be unveiled and brought together into one program only with small positive thoughts and good_will.exe  files.

Just take a simple example,

Take a potato, and write HATE over it. Now, carry it with you in your pocket for a weak. Not, just the potato will rot, also the pocket of your pant will stink. That is the exact thing that happens when you develop hatred for someone in your heart. The hatred is going to pollute you from within. The quality of your thoughts will degrade. You will develop anger and agitation. Whenever you will see him/her, your brain will be triggered with ill-thoughts and anger. Your efficiency will be decreased as you will be spending your valuable time by thinking about all those people.

So, why hate anyone.

Rather, just conclude at the point that, your thoughts don’t match with the other person. There are differences between two people. That’s no big deal. But, if there is hatred among two people. That’s a big deal.

James Bond : For your eyes only, had Roger Moore (Then, James Bond 007) saying, “When you are onto take a revenge, always dig  two graves” as not just the person at the other end is going to lose something, but you as well are going to lose. While, neither one is actually going to gain anything.

Yes, I have had differences with people  in the past and in recent past as well. I pledge, that I do not HATE any one of them anymore. I pledge that next time I see anyone of them,  I will definitely say a “Hi” to that person. Will you?
